Michele Maupin is a Personal Safety Expert with a Karate Black Belt, a degree in Leadership, a license with the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training, and Founder of Empowered, LLC.
She founded the Empowered Program in 2007 after an intimidating encounter in Portland Oregon, where she discovered the difference between knowing how to fight, and diffusing a situation before it becomes a problem.
Michele has empowered 1,000s of people from all walks of life in a variety of industries (speakers included), and now works to “Empower People Who Help People,” especially in the social service and healthcare field.
